About this chapter

I put a long TN in that chapter.Sorry for being such a jerk.But I felt guilty about putting out such an unfunny line when I could have done something about it at the cost of compromising the actual meaning.But I generally refrain from improvising if it just cannot capture the author’s intended message anyway.I fail.

About future releases

Next,the next chapter of Nicoichi is unknown because I have been lucky enough to get enrolled into a college class I was so desperately craving for to graduate.Which means more work.I have also been lucky enough to be considered to join Tau Beta Pi,one of the oldest Engineering Honor Societies in the US in my college.I have to do a fair amount of bullshit for the next few months to become an actual member.Because I’m so desperate to join,I’ll probably put future releases on a much lower priority than I had actually planned.UNLESS,some kind soul come along to help me translate manga.So….

Dunno when the next release is,school starts on monday-ish and I’m supposed to be doing spring cleaning(6 months late).And I can’t say that watching all 47 episodes of Nana in the last few days helped me release this faster.In fact,it left me quite sad indeed.Shoujo/Josei always makes me sad.But this one was particularly depressing.

On the other hand,I remembered being much happier watching Lovely Complex.After digging up one of the old songs from there,I remembered Hey Say 7,the pretty boy band that I never really liked just because they were more popular than me.Strangely,I only had 1 song that I liked from them.I think I would have been a bigger fan of them had I never known that they weren’t an all boy group.My first reaction to them was,”Hey,there’s a pretty girl in there!”…..oh wait,these fangirls are saying it’s a guy….Fack!

Next up is Nicoichi chapter 17 I think.I’m also thinking of getting a new series scanlated.I doubt I’ll release it under this group though,but we’ll see.And because of that you might see a delay in the next chapter?I’m shooting for at least chapter 18 to be done by the end of the month.

I’m feeling pretty placid at the moment,must be because of all the ramen I ate just now for lunch.

EDIT: BTW,does someone have a tankunbon raw of volume 6 in Japanese? (no chinese raw and no magazine raws please,they suck).

Durr I was side tracked with other projects I’ve been doing so this was probably delayed a few days because of that =D.As with the last release I put in a tribute to Satoshi-sensei just so that all the current active projects have at least 1 mention of him.I also want to apologize to Solin for not giving due credit to him for helping me transcribe chapter 15.

I’ll be working on Minami-ke next I guess,just to alternate between the two.On an unrelated note,I looked up Japanese dubbed Disney movies for fun and apparently they redubed the songs too.While a vast majority had lost the original meaning,this one from Hercules was F**in good and pretty accurate/faithful for a dub.This along with another one from Beauty and the Beast when they introduce Belle was good.I can’t say much for the rest of Disney’s JP dubbed stuff though.The Adventures of the Gummi Bears JP opening was so corny,I almost barfed.
